Turtleback Elementary School PTA Goals: 2012-2013 
To Be Approved by Association

 
It is the goal of Turtleback Elementary School PTA to enhance the school environment by education, support and communication with family, school and community by adopting the following:
 
  • Support all Turtleback Elementary Programs
  • Encourage an appreciation of the arts through Art Attack and Music Programs
  • Participate in the National PTA Reflections Program - This is a great opportunity for the students to participate in a national arts program
  • Support educational opportunities for the students and parents - Assist parents in developing skills to raise and protect children and prepare them for college
  • Prevent bullying and cyber-bullying
  • Support the school through Volunteer Recruitment and programs to meet literary needs
  • Support social and emotional support to Turtleback children
  • Focus on fitness, nutrition, health and safety
  • Promote greater and more meaningful family engagement, through school spirit and affortable and themed family events
  • Maintain ongoing communication between the family, school and community
  • Enhance the relationship between staff, teachers, parents and students
  • Increase PTA Membership by 5%
  • Increase awareness to parents, teachers, students and the community to the benefits of being a PTA Member
  • Establish and maintain hand-in-hand collaboration and cooperation with the Turtleback Education Foundation - We are both working towards the same goal, ' to provide porgrams and skills that can enhance our children's education'
